What mobile detailing actually covers

Mobile detailing can cover exterior washing, wheels, paint decontamination and protection, together with interior vacuuming, shampooing, steam cleaning, trim care, glass and odour treatment.

On the exterior, the service may include a careful hand wash, wheel and tyre cleaning, bonded-contamination removal, microfibre drying and a wax, sealant or ceramic spray finish. Inside, the work can extend under seats, into the boot, door pockets, carpets, seats, dash, console, vents and interior glass.

The exact inclusions depend on whether you choose Ready Refresh, Interior Reset or Ready Complete.

Detailing versus a quick wash

A quick wash removes loose surface dirt. Detailing goes further into built-up contamination, interior fibres and finishing protection.

A maintained vehicle may only need Ready Refresh. A family car, work vehicle or car that has gone a long time without a deep clean is more likely to need Interior Reset or Ready Complete.

Power

A standard power point supports equipment such as vacuums and polishers. Alternative arrangements may be possible when discussed in advance.

Space

A single driveway or normal parking bay is often sufficient, provided there is safe room to move around the vehicle. Tight or underground locations should be disclosed before the appointment.

Ready Refresh — from $159

Maintenance detailing for reasonably maintained vehicles needing a professional inside-and-out refresh. Allow approximately 1.5–2 hours.

Interior Reset — from $199

A deeper interior-focused service for family vehicles, spills, stains, sand and interiors needing more than routine cleaning. Allow approximately 2.5–3.5 hours.

Ready Complete — from $299

Deep interior care combined with more thorough exterior detailing, decontamination, finishing and protection. Allow approximately 4–5 hours.
